El lugar estaba bien ubicado cerca del metro, pero las condiciones de la casa dejan mucho que desear, humedades, uno de los baños no funcionaba la nevera de la habitación tampoco, todo muy sucio, baño, sabanas etc. Eso si muchas toallas limpias, la atención de los propietarios muy buena desde que llegamos. En resumen bien precio en relación con ubicación, pero necesario mas limpieza en general.

Le but de notre séjour étant de visiter New-York et non pas rester dans l'appartement, c'est fût excellent !!
Pour le logis, il y a beaucoup à dire. Je peux vous envoyer des photos prises pendant notre séjour et vous comprendrez la différence avec celles publiées sur le site. Ça frôle amateurisme et même l'indigence !! Terrasse impraticable ( lave-linge et téléviseur plat HS sur celle-ci). Sacs poubelle pleins présents également .Quand au jardin, interdit d'accès (barrière) et c'est tant mieux car avec des herbes d'au moins 1.30m de haut.... Pour résumer le prix était correct, mais la prestation valait nettement moins que cela !!

We were in the ground floor of the apartment: the greatest. Sure photos are dated and printing is not the same when you arrive, everything would need a good cooling and storage and more. Steve was very present, extremely kind and did everything just to make things easier and make our stay more enjoyable. The terrace is nice and Steve also has full project to landscape the garden. The area is residential, small houses more or less maintained but still quiet. A Happy half hour from Manhattan. Good place to take a first look at NYC without breaking the bank

Nous étions dans l'appartement du rdc : le plus grand. C'est sûr les photos datent un peu et l'impression n'est pas la même quand on arrive, tout aurait besoin d'un bon rafraîchissement et de rangement en plus. Steve était tres présent, d'une gentillesse extrême et a tout fait tout pour nous faciliter les choses et nous rendre le séjour plus agréable. La terrasse est bien agréable et Steve a aussi plein de projet pour aménager le jardin. Le quartier est résidentiel, des petites maisons plus ou moins entretenues mais tranquille. A une Bonne demi heure de Manhattan. Bonne adresse pour prendre un premier aperçu de NYC sans se ruiner

Have been for the second time in NYC and is staying for the second time in a rundown building. Possibly all (cheaper) rooms are so run down. It makes a sad to see how the owners can rot the building in NYC.
Compared to the outer appearance of the apartment was relatively clean. The technical equipment (TV, fridge, even Wii Playstation) was compared to the princely state of the building. However, it was not easy to bring the TV and WIFI and running. WIFI did not work upon arrival, at night it suddenly works by itself. The next night the same thing.
If someone has taken a shower in the upper apartment, the water has dripped through the ceiling on the TV.
On the last evening and departure there was no hot water for showers. Only in the kitchen.
Localization is quite inconvenient. Path to Subway 300m. However, the bus stop is right outside the door. Evening and especially at night not all trains to the terminus.
But the most unpleasant was the Wimdu system. This accommodation works with digital locks. There's no one on site. Only one week after the departure I found the code for the digital locks in Wimdu account where I do not normally nachschaue. This message was sent also only about 1 week before arrival (where I still do not know exactly). One week before arrival in NYC but we were a long time in the US and had very limited access to the Internet. In the evening at 20 Accordingly we stood: 00h in front of a closed building and feared already, having to look into the need for another hotel. Fortunately, we were able to reach the owner by phone.
Assessment: Book Only when nothing else is real in the lower price range. For such an accommodation the price still seems too high. But that's NYC.

Zum zweiten Mal in NYC gewesen und zum zweiten Mal in einem heruntergekommenen Gebäude logiert. Evtl sind alle (günstigeren) Unterkünfte so heruntergekommen. Es macht einen traurig zu sehen, wie die Eigentümer in NYC die Gebäude verrotten lassen.
Verglichen mit dem äusseren Erscheinungsbild war das Appartement noch relativ sauber. Die techn Ausstattung (TV, Kühlschrank, sogar Wii-Playstation) war im Vergleich zum Zustand des Gebäude fürstlich. Allerdings war es nicht ganz einfach den TV und WIFI zum Laufen zu bringen. WIFI hatte bei der Ankunft nicht funktioniert, in der Nacht hat es dann plötzlich von allein funktioniert. Am nächsten Abend dasselbe.
Wenn jemand im oberen Appartement geduscht hat, ist das Wasser durch die Decke auf den TV getröpfelt.
Am letzten Abend und Abreisetag gab es kein warmes Wasser zum Duschen. Nur in der Küche.
Die Lage der Unterkunft ist ziemlich ungünstig. Laufweg zur Subway etwa 300m. Allerdings ist die Bushalte direkt vor der Tür. Abends und vor allem nachts fahren nicht mehr alle Züge zur Endstation.
Das Unangenehmste war aber das Wimdu-System. Diese Unterkunft funktioniert mit digitalen Schlössern. Es ist NIEMAND vor Ort. Erst eine Woche NACH der Abreise habe ich den Code für die digitalen Schlösser im Wimdu-Account gefunden, wo ich normalerweise nicht nachschaue. Diese Nachricht wurde auch erst ca. 1 Woche vor Ankunft versendet (wohin weiss ich immer noch nicht genau). Eine Woche vor Ankunft in NYC waren wir aber schon lange in den USA und hatten nur sehr beschränkten Zugang zum Internet. Dementsprechend standen wir abends um 20:00h vor einem verschlossenen Gebäude und befürchteten bereits, in der Not ein anderes Hotel suchen zu müssen. Glücklicherweise konnten wir die Eigentümer telefonisch erreichen.
Beurteilung: Nur buchen, wenn man echt nichts anderes in der unteren Preisklasse findet. Für so eine Unterkunft scheint der Preis dennoch viel zu hoch. Aber das ist wohl NYC.

Good quality / price ratio. The apartment is located in a shared house with 3 studios with a fully equipped common + washing machine + a terrace with a small garden. The description and pictures were updated and 100% match offer (for 3 studios). There is no key locks everything works by code. Steve usually happens the day to see if everything goes well, then it is available by phone in case of problems. About the neighborhood, it is 30 minutes by subway from Manhattan South, the nearest station is 5 minutes walk and the metro pass every 3 to 5 minutes during the week. The bus is also very easy to access. The neighborhood is quiet and all amenities are nearby within 5 minutes walk. To summarize, excellent offer for an average stay (we stayed 10 days) because of a shorter duration, distance to Manhattan can make strenuous days

Bon rapport qualité/prix. L'appartement se trouve dans une maison partagée en 3 studios avec une cuisine toute équipée commune + un lave-linge + une terrasse avec petit jardin. Le descriptif et les photos ont été réactualisées et correspondent à 100% à l'offre (pour les 3 studios).
Il n'y a pas de clés, tout fonctionne par serrures à code. Steve passe en général le lendemain voir si tout va bien, ensuite il est disponible au téléphone en cas de problème.
Concernant le quartier, il est à 30 minutes en métro du Sud de Manhattan, la station la plus proche se trouve à 5 minutes à pied et il passe des métros toutes les 3 à 5 minutes en semaine. Le bus est très facile d'accès aussi. Le quartier est calme et tous les commerces sont à proximité à moins de 5 minutes de marche.
Pour résumer, excellente offre pour un moyen séjour (nous étions resté 10 jours) car pour des courtes durées, l'éloignement de Manhattan peut rendre les journées fatiguantes

The home have everything is described on Wimdu. I can say you have everything you need: kitchen, tv set, ecc. The home itself is really small and could need a renovation to make it a more pleasent place to stay.
The house is located in a popular district 40 minutes subway from manhattan and first impact could be a bit scaring when you realize you are the only white skinned (if you are) in the whole area, but in a week of staying nobody disturbed us. During weekend the surrounding can be really noisy.
In summary, for that price is a good deal

In general they were friendly, but for reasons of vacation they Heather and Steve could not know. Perhaps for this reason the communication was not very smooth, like having to insist would enter the house because we had to give a password. Finally, enough "to limit" receive. My wife is allergic, so we had to remove all types of carpet that were quite "used" and store them in a corner. We had to clean the bathrooms because something else was not quite right. One thing to keep in mind, in the bathroom there is not a single plug. Keep that in mind with hair dryers, shavers, etc.. The kitchen is shared, as well as the washer and dryer. No lockers can not even hang clothes. We managed leaving it on tables, sofas, etc. .... There are things to improve. This is our fourth time in USA in rented and we have certainly been far better sites. The price is high for what they offer.

En general fueron amables, mas por motivos de vacaciones de ellos Heather y Steve no pudimos conocerlos.
Quizas por este motivo la comunicacion no fue muy fluida, teniendo que insistir en como entrariamos a la casa pues nos tenian que dar una clave de acceso. Finalmente, bastante "al limite" la recibimos.
Mi esposa es alergica, por lo que tuvimos que quitar todo tipo de alfombras que estaban bastante "usadas" y almacenarlas en un rincon. Tuvimos que limpiar algo mas los baños pues no estaban del todo bien.
Un detalle a tener en cuenta, en los cuartos de baño NO HAY NI UN SOLO ENCHUFE¡¡¡. Tenedlo en cuenta con secadores de pelo, afeitadoras, etc.
La cocina es compartida, asi como la lavadora y la secadora.
NO HAY ARMARIOS¡¡¡¡
No se puede siquiera colgar la ropa.
Nos apañamos dejandola encima de mesas, sofas, etc,....
Hay cosas que mejorar.
Es nuestra cuarta vez en USA en regimen de alquiler y ciertamente hemos estado en sitios bastante mejores. El precio es elevado para lo que ofrecen.

Apartment was in good condition and very clean. Shops and subway are nearby. The Brooklyn neighbourhood is slightly off the beaten track but didn't feel unsafe. It does take quite a while to get to Manhatten from this part of town.
