At Dresden's most famous buildings - the Zwinger, Semper Opera House, Castle, Cathedral, Frauenkirche and Brühl's Terrace - it's just a very short and pleasant walk. The banks of the Elbe with the famous Canaletto view is just a few steps, and the King Street itself and the adjoining streets of the historic baroque district, with its preserved original buildings invite you to stroll. There are a lot of cozy restaurants and quality shops and galleries and shops for daily needs. Even as popular as the busy outer Neustadt, Dresden's "scene-area", can be reached on foot within minutes.
With a size of 73 square meters in two floors the apartment is very spacious and roomy. The lower level houses the living area, dining area and work area and a fully equipped open kitchen (with fridge, stove, oven and microwave), a wardrobe and a toilet. TV, telephone and internet access (WLAN) are naturally present. In the gallery is the sleeping area (double bed) and the bathroom (with bathtub and washing machine). The sofa on the lower level is a comfortable sofa bed for a comfortable two other guests.
In the loving facilities followed the owner is a very simple principle: They set the house so as they themselves would like to find - and are always happy when their guests feel at home there.
The rent depends on the rental period. For longer stays and cleaning services and a car park.

Reviews for this host's other properties
I booked this apartment for the opening weekend of the Dresden Christmas markets. The other three people in my party flew in from out of country. The booking process was very easy, and Caroline was quick to respond to my questions initially. However, as our arrival date got closer, and I had questions about how to access the keys, where to park, etc., I could not get in touch with her. I started to become very worried that there had been a mishap and we wouldn't have a place to stay on our holiday weekend in Dresden, which would have been doubly bad since we had people spending money to fly in. Finally, after a number of weeks, I did hear back from her, and she was able to answer my questions. She apologized for the delay in her response, and I was fine with that. I do understand that life is hectic, and sometimes things happen. Anyway, we arrived to the apartment, and were able to park right in front on the street, for 6 Euros a day. Very much a bargain, in my opinion. We picked our keys up downstairs, and when we tried to enter the outside door, the key would not turn. It was only a minor inconvenience, and I was able to reach Caroline on the phone immediately. She arranged a different set of keys for us right away, and we were in the apartment shortly thereafter. The apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable. It is very much decorated with IKEA furnishings, but I found them to work very well. There's a reason IKEA is so popular. Some of the shelving was very worn and peeling, and I feel it needs to be replaced, but that is only a minor issue. The beds were comfortable, and the sheets seemed clean, although one of my friends found rolled up tissues in her bedding. It was a bit confusing because the duvet looked and felt freshly laundered. We were unable to get the wifi to connect the first night, because the information on the back of the router was incorrect. However, I was able to reach Caroline through email, and she got us a new password the next morning. Everything worked fine after that. The location is fantastic, just a short distance (less than a two minute walk) from the Palaisplatz tram stop which can take you across the river into the old town on the #4 line in a matter of minutes. If you want to walk instead, it's only 10-15 minutes over the bridge, and the views are wonderful. There are many good restaurants in the area, including a Czech place on the first floor of the apartment building, and a wonderful family run Greek place just down the street less than half a block. All in all, we had a spectacular time, and wished we could've stayed longer. I would book this apartment again in a flash, and have only docked one star because of the few problems listed above in my review.
