The house has an old country style, rustic & comfortable with a nice garden, in which you can enjoy from breakfast to dinner, always accompanied by the amazing views of the mountains.
To get the House will have to climb a street stairs. Here no cars passing so the environment is quieter.
It's located in the village Bunyola, 12 km from Palma.
The village has all the charm of an antic village at the edge of the Sierra de Tramuntana. It has the advantage of being close to the city without being contaminated by noise and mass tourism. 100% tranquility and nature!!!
Bunyola is a village with real local life. The village square is a meeting place where you can spend time with the local people.
There are also some restaurants and bars where you can take your breakfast, lunch and dinner and a few supermarkets and bakeries.
Every Wednesday and Saturday mornings you can visit the market in the square and buy products from the island.
To See,To Do:
Sierra de Tramuntana, a natural place ideal for hiking, climbing, cycling or relaxing after the mountain or beach day.
For hikers, Bunyola has beautiful itinararies and landscapes. One of them starts just in Lluna street, where you can begin to climb the mountain and get lost in the woods. You can reach the top "Penyal de Honor" ( + 800mts ) and see all the island from there.
On the way back to the village, you can take another route around the mountain which ends at SA COVA, an incredible farm with animals located between the rocks and their main house built in a natural cave. Impossible not to know!
For climbers, there are the well known places for climbing: SA GUBIA and FRAGUEL, both very close to the village and easy acces.
In the end of January and all February you can enjoy the enchanting scenery of the almond blossom, very famous and typical of Mallorca and for this area.
Nearby Bunyola ( 8km ), is the tiny but charming village of Orient. An old and beauty village between the mountains with good restaurants to lunch or drink coffee.
Between Orient and Bunyola, we can find Salt de Freud, very nice scenery with small waterfalls.
In September, between the 18th and 25th approximately, Bunyola celebrates the traditional festival of Sant Mateu with concerts, competitions, dancing and fireworks.
It's located very close to Palma, Valldemossa, Deia, Esporles, Alaró, Sóller, Port de Sóller, Fornalutx, etc, with good access to the highway to Palma (15'), Airport & Playa de Palma (20')
The sea can be seen at 12km in Puerto de Soller, a beautiful natural harbor where you can find a beach for the day.
If you search an alternative way to get there, you can take the "Tren de Sóller" a 100 years old train, stoping in Bunyola.
From the airport by public transport:
Take the bus to the city of Palma until Plaza España. There you have to change to bus 220, in the underground intermodal terminal. This bus goes directly to Bunyola.
There are many rental companies at the airport. Tip: Check the prices. They change a lot from company to company.
