The building occupies a corner lot overlooking a fresh market. Built in the 20' and renovated some years ago, it consists of 5 storeys, topped by a rooftop terrace. Many of the families who bought in the past still reside there, an indication to the stability and safety of the area. Some of the surrounding buildings are of the same period. Taranto Flat is on 2° floor.
The flat covers ca. 55 sq. mts. and has graceful details like plaster cornices, and parquet floors. It consists of a large living room, a full kitchen, one bedroom with a large cabin closet and one bathroom. It has been recently renovated to a high standard including entirely new electrical system, bath, A/C, appliances etc.
House rulesARRIVALS & DEPARTURES
Check-in is after 4 P.M. (after 9.00 P.M. extra charge 30 euro, after 11 P.M. extra charge 50 euro)
Check-out is by 10 A.M. A late check out (until 2 P.M.) is available with an extra charge of 50 Euro
To organise check-in, the client must inform the City Manager when they are due to arrive, contacting him 4/5 days in advance by mail or telephone (see Contact)
It is guaranteed that the house will be ready at 4 P.M., and it should be vacated no later than 10 A.M. (after 11 A.M. extra charge 20 euros) on the departure day.
The City Manager has the right to deny access to any client who show signs of being drunk or intoxicated, who act agressively towards the City Manager, or who violates State laws.
Anyone booking an apartment agrees not to have parties or loud music playing. If neighbors complain and/or the police are called, it may result in the immediate eviction of the tenant regardless of the time of day or night. This will also result in the loss of prepaid rent. Quiet time in the properties is from 10 PM to 10 AM.
By booking with us you agree to our terms and conditions and expected to abide by these rules. You will also be expected to sign these rules upon check-in on your date of arrival.
HOUSEHOLD MAINTENANCE & TIDYING UP
The house will be tidy and clean when you arrive – please let the City Manager know immediately if you find any shortcomings.
In your house you will find a broom, a dustpan and other useful things to tidy up.
You are responsible for the state of the house.
Before you leave the house you must wash the dishes, dispose of the rubbish and put the furniture in the order in which you found it.
If you do not, your security money will not be given back.
LOSS OF KEYS
If you lose or take the house keys away you are subject to a payment of 80 euro.
If you leave the keys inside the apartment in the lock and a locksmith must be called to open the apartment, you are subject to a payment of 300 euro.
DAMAGES & COMPLAINTS
Our guests should check the equipment listed on the inventory.
Damages that occur during normal use of the equipment, if not caused by misuse, will not be charged to the customer’s bill and will be repaired in line with the availability of a technician and with the required materials.
Otherwise, if the damage has been caused by misuse, the repairs will be charged to the customer’s bill or deducted from the security deposit.
Please report any damaged equipment to the City Manager, who will endeavour to replace/organise repair as soon as possible.
Please note that the City Manager is NOT AUTHORISED under any circumstance to give a discount to clients. If the client has a complaint and would like to discuss a discount, he must contact the apartment owner via email directly, outlining the reasons for complaint.
The City Manager has the right to enter the house for reasons of inspection or maintenance.
NUMBER OF GUESTS
Rental guests agree not to exceed the maximum occupancy listed on the website. If rental guests exceed the maximum occupancy of the apartment, owner/manager may immediately evict them with no refund of the unused portion of the rental period. At NO time can the maximum occupancy be exceeded.
Pets are not admitted.
The apartment is strictly non-smoking.
Subletting the house is not allowed.
In the case that the client does not respect any of the points contained in this section, the City Manager will ask the client to leave the house.

The apartment was very nice and comfortable. We were 4, and we slept perfectly with the bed and sofa.
The best of it is the location. The tram and the metro are very close, so you can move easily around Rome.
The apartment is excellent. Sleek design, great location so close to the metro. I have some comments on the method of communicating through Wimdu:
- When booking you first get the information that the data (no longer) available. It appears to be about accepting the booking by the owner. The result is that you are not available on the basis of the information about it, you are going to choose another apartment. For the same dates Then the same thing happens and you have to undo the double booking by phone. Advice: let the customer know that after 24 hours uncertain whether he can hire.
-When the confirmation is not the name and telephone number of the city manager called. That we have received from the owner!
- There are several awards given: 469, - per week in the description, the booking: 883.84 + 90.86 service charge, instead of 938, - total
- At check-in was 200, - asked to deposit that is not listed on the site
Het appartement is uitstekend. Strakke inrichting, prima locatie zo dicht bij de metro. Ik heb wel wat commentaar over de wijze van communiceren door Wimdu:
- bij het boeken krijg je eerst de info dat de data niet (meer) beschikbaar zijn. Het blijkt te gaan over het accepteren van de boeking door de eigenaar. Het gevolg is, dat je, op grond van de info over het niet beschikbaar zijn, je voor dezelfde data een ander appartement gaat kiezen. Dan gebeurt hetzelfde en moet je via de telefoon de dubbele boeking ongedaan maken. Advies: laat de klant weten dat pas na 24 uur zeker is of hij kan huren.
-bij de bevestiging wordt niet de naam en telefoonnummer van de citymanager genoemd. Die hebben we van de eigenaar gekregen!
- er worden verschillende prijzen gegeven: 469,- per week in de beschrijving; bij de boeking : 883,84 + 90,86 servicekosten, i.p.v. 938,- in totaal
- bij het inchecken werd 200,- aan borg gevraagd, dat staat niet op de site vermeld
For us as a couple, the apartment was ideal. The four of it is a little tight. The kitchen
is sufficient. I would have liked a toaster, a kettle as well, but with a gas stove, it goes fast. The bedroom is very well equipped, two large cabinets that we did not need. The bed is
o.k. The sofa in the living room, which is a double-deck to smell
can work to smoke. We thought that was not so nice. After thorough cleaning, especially the shower (which was quite dirty and disgusting at first), it was ok Therefore only a satisfactory rating.
Für uns zu zweit war die Wohnung ideal. Zu viert wird es etwas eng. Die Küche
ist ausreichend. Einen Toaster hätte ich mir gewünscht, ebenso einen Wasserkocher, aber mit dem Gasherd geht es schnell. Das Schlafzimmer ist sehr gut ausgestattet, zwei große Schränke, die wir nicht brauchten. Das Bett ist
o.k. Im Wohnzimmer roch das Sofa, welches man zu einer Doppelliege um-
funktionieren kann, nach Rauch. Das fanden wir nicht so nett. Nach gründlicher Reinigung, vorallem die Dusche (die zunächst recht dreckig und ecklig war), war es o.k. Von daher nur eine befriedigende Bewertung.
The house is very central and clean. A line metro station, 150 meters in the St.Giovanni. distance. 4 people stayed for 7 days. Kettle and wifi would be even better, though. Are satisfied, would recommend.
Ev çok merkezi ve temiz. A hattında bulunan St.Giovanni metro istasyonuna 150 mt. mesafede. 7 gün süreyle 4 kişi kaldık. Su ısıtıcısı ve wifi olsa daha da iyi olurdu. Memnun kaldık,öneriyorum.
The accommodation was very very nice, clean and well located. The only negative aspect was that some dishes were available only for 2 people. Contact with manager and house keys were gone great!
Die Unterkunft war sehr sehr schön, sauber und gut gelegen. Einziger negativer Aspekt war, dass Geschirr teilweise nur für 2 Personen vorhanden war. Kontakt mit house manager und Schlüsselübergabe waren super gelaufen!
Very nice and comfortable flat. we will surely return there. Access to the metro at 100m. Careful: there is a 200 euros deposit which has been fully returned at the end of our stay. It was our second time in Rome and this is a good accommodation. I think it's a 3 person flat nonetheless.
Отдыхала с двумя детьми в июне 2013 г. Комфортно и мило. В жару за окном нас ждала прохлада в квартире. В трёх минутах автобусные остановки и метро Сан Джовани. Так же рядом мы обнаружили обычные продуктовые магазины с весьма привлекательными ценами, где и отовариваются местные жители. Единственный минус квартиры-это отсутствие горячей воды в ночное время! Так что если вы любители прогуляться по ночному Риму, имейте это в виду. При отъезде Филиппо любезно нам вызвал такси. Я РЕКОМЕНДУЮ ИМЕННО ЭТОТ ВАРИАНТ ПРИБЫВАНИЯ В РИМЕ!!
Very comfortable apartment for two, well equipped with AC and ceiling fans for the hot summer season. Overall a good choice to pick this place, close to subway and bus stops. Kitchen has all basic utensils, washing machine is a great asset. Small bathroom with bidet, toilet, sink and shower more than sufficient. TVs in dining and bedroom. Easy to reach and receive helpful infos from "city manager".
Little disadvantages: bathroom slide door doesn't shut tightly to neighboring kitchen and shower cabin insulation partly moldy. Cleanliness: rugs in living and bed rooms needed cleaning before we arrived, just as floors in general were vacuumed but apparently not washed. Traffic and construction work are loud, windows closed or ear-plugs do the trick at night for sensitive sleepers.
